Our story
The first Al Saraya was torn down in front of our eyes. The building that held our work, our memories, and all of our dreams came down with the whole block — and it would have been easy to say: enough, this far and no further.
We did not. We searched again, started over, and found a new home at Marina Building in Al Rashidiya — because a place can be torn down, but a dream never can. The old Saraya ended; the story of Al Saraya is still being written.
The team behind it is Egyptian and Romanian — two cultures behind one counter, arriving from very different industries and long professional careers, and pouring all of that into one place: a cafe that serves Ajman the way we would serve our own families.
